At Aluma-Tec, we can perform chromate conversion on parts up to 11 feet long, up to 4 feet deep, and up to 2 feet wide. We are 9002-2000 certified and meet all Federal Military Standards.

Chromate Conversion Coating forms a thin gel-like film that is self-healing while becoming an integral part of the metal surface. This film helps paint or an adhesive finish bind to the aluminum. Chromate conversion increases the corrosion resistance of your aluminum part. Chromate conversion will also allow your aluminum part to retain electrical conductivity.
